Lemon Tree

The lemon tree can grow up to 6 meters in height, but is usually shorter. The branches have thorns and form an open crown. The leaves are green, shiny and have an elliptical shape. The flowers are white externally and internally purplish. On a lemon tree, the fruit and the flowers coexist.

The lemon tree can grow in tropical and temperate climates and cannot withstand very low temperatures. They prefer temperatures between 15-30 ° C and need a lot of sunshine. They grow well in fertile, dry soil. Lemon trees need lots of water, and need to dry between watering. They can be planted as garden plants or potted if pruned to stay small.
